I Ching by Tubes Brings Tranquility and Style to a Guest House in Piemonte
Tubes' I Ching radiator, designed by Elisa Ossino, has been selected by Damilano Studio to furnish Pavillon, a serene guest house project conceived to welcome visitors and cultivate a sense of inner peace.
Located within an industrial zone in Italy’s Piemonte region, the pavilion is set against a stunning backdrop dominated by a 580-square-meter expanse of water. Its distinctive architectural feature—a series of vast floor-to-ceiling windows—dissolves the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a seamless dialogue between nature and structure. Every element within this setting is designed to amplify an atmosphere of calm and connection.
In this context, I Ching finds its perfect place in the bathroom, offering not just warmth, but also elegance, decoration, and comfort. Installed in its three-vertical-module version, measuring 135 cm, I Ching harmonizes effortlessly with the clean-lined design of the Pavillon. Its minimalist geometry—parallel lines referencing the ancient Chinese hexagrams from the I Ching book—enhances the space with a symbolic and graphic presence.
Positioned beside the open shower, I Ching transforms a simple daily ritual into an experience of well-being. Thanks to innovative technical research that minimizes dimensions and eliminates visible joints, the radiator becomes a sculptural element—an artwork that defines the character of the environment.
Operating electrically on an extra-low voltage system (24 Volts), I Ching ensures safe installation even in wet environments and near water sources.
Completing the aesthetic is the Matt Brushed Copper finish, carefully chosen by Architect Duilio Damilano. This sophisticated galvanic treatment establishes a perfect harmony with other bathroom fixtures, creating a unified and textured interior design language.
